Zoloft 50mg not working anymore
See active discussions on Postpartum Depression M Zoloft not working anymore?! I've only been on my Zoloft, low dose of 50MG and lately it seems like it just isn't working anymore.
My Dr gave me a low dose first to see if it would work and it seemed like it did! But now it's like I'm taking a pill that does nothing for me anymore, like my body is just used to it by now. Did this happen to anyone else?! I called my Dr to see what I'd have to do about getting a higher dosage. My doctor has told me that if I feel the need to take a couple during the day to do so though. Sometimes if I'm having a stressful day or before I had my baby and i was pmsing I would need more.
Were you on it before pregnancy? If so maybe you do need an increase during this stressful time. I've thought before these aren't working I'm not taking them anymore and by the 3rd day I'm a mess so I guess they are doing something. Zoloft worked for me right away but became less effective after about 6 weeks. My doctor upped my dosage to mg along with mg of Wellbutrin. The 2 meds together worked well for me with controlling the sadness, crying, lack of energy and lack of appetite.

I realize not everyone can run but there are other options. Walking is okay but I have found in order to change my brain chemistry I need something more intense. It goes away I somewhat. Every time I've upped my dosage, and when I first start it, I have the most incredible, vivid dreams and I can't tell when I'm awake or asleep. Anyone else experience this? I tappered off like my doctor 50mg and I have been off for about 2 weeks now. I'm trying to conceive. I have been taking 50 mg.
